At Happy Rabbit, Quality is a way of thinking that is embedded into every plan, every action and every communication.

Why are Quality Assurance and Quality Control Important?

Because 2% of material going into the clothing system is sent to landfill or incineration from garments that are manufactured, yet never reach the consumer. And because every day the equivalent of 85,000 garbage trucks of textiles is landfilled or burned. Much of this is due to short life product.

The world – and good business - simply don’t need more inferior quality garments.

If the industry is to truly become sustainable whilst rising to the challenge of continued downward price pressure and shorter lead times, it needs to be smarter and adopt end-to-end thinking with regards to quality. It’s not just about identifying, correcting and /or rejecting defects but preventing them. A proactive approach to Quality Assurance at each step of the process reduces the cost of production, increases efficiency, minimizes waste, guarantees consistency, builds trust, lengthens the garment lifecycle and ultimately earns more business. With good Quality Assurance processes backed by defect tracking and data, you can recognize inconsistencies and react to problems more flexibly, even before they occur.

How we Work

We conduct pre-production meetings, fabric inspections, in line inspections and end line inspections on behalf of our customers. We coordinate and communicate with the vendors directly and a report is made available via the customer’s online portal within 24 hours.

Our customers benefit from a number of services including (but not limited to):

  • Same day reporting
  • Storage of reports and data to facilitate KPI assessment
  • Production status and quantity recap
  • Customisable dashboard reporting of delivery and defects
  • Historical comparison and trends
  • Follow-up support from QA manager via Skype

Triggers

  • New Inspection Order - triggers when a new inspection order is placed. IN BETA
  • New Inspection Report - triggers when a new inspection report is published. The Workflows will differ depending on your criteria, for example if the result is "reject" or if a particular vendor, product group or buyer is selected.

Actions

  • Create Inspection Order - creates a new inspection order. For example from a new PO placed in your ERP system of choice. IN BETA

Pricing

For our QC services, we charge per Manday needed to execute the inspections. To make life easy, customers simply purchase Manday Credits that can then be used flexibly.

There are two ways to purchase Manday Credits from us. Both offer discounts based on volume and the choice between them depends on your level of commitment and recurring business:

1. Prepaid

This is a good choice if you want to try our services without long term commitment or just need QC inspections every now and then. Just prepay the Manday Credits you need by credit card and you’re good to go!

2. Monthly Plans

By signing up to a plan and committing to purchasing a minimum number of Manday Credits per month, you'll receive a higher discount. We'll help you manage your peaks and troughs by carrying over unused credits and offering additional credits at the same discount.

Terms

All plans have a minimum contract period of 9 months after which the subscription will be automatically renewed each month. The plan can be cancelled with a 3 month notice at any time after the first 6 months.

Credits are valid for 12 months from the date they were purchased.

Payment to be made by bank transfer within 30 days, subject to credit approval.
